GLEN PETERSEN MANAGING

Glen Petersen
is the Managing Director of Generator Talent with over 25
years work experience in organisations across Australia, New
Zealand and North America. A specialist in the consumer
goods & services, manufacturing and telecommunications
industries, Glen was most recently the head of HR at Fonterra
- a $14Billion, 20,000 employee business operating in over
40 countries. Glen has also held senior roles with Telecom
NZ, Telstra, Lion Nathan, Arnott’s and PepsiCo.
Glen has been consulting for over seven years, and in that time has been instrumental in starting up two successful boutique executive search firms, along with developing a range of consulting solutions and services for clients across Australia and New Zealand. Glen is in demand by clients who value his pragmatic advice and ability to positively influence people and improve business outcomes
Glen holds a Bachelor of Business from
Charles Sturt University in Australia, where he was awarded
the prize for highest marks in Human Resources subjects. He
has previously represented Australia at Ironman Triathlon
World Championships.

PAUL BETHELL PARTNER

Paul Bethell is a Partner with Generator
Talent with over 14 years work experience in organisations
across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and North America. A specialist
in the Technology, IT Services and Telecommunications sectors,
Paul has most recently held General Manager HR roles at Navman,
a multinational Technology Business and Telecom New Zealand,
both in New Zealand and Australia. Paul has also held senior
roles with Tait Electronics.
With Global HR experience, principally gained through working
with businesses based in Asia Pacific and North America Paul
is a specialist in business integration, restructuring and
change management, and has a track record of success working
in Technology and Telco businesses undergoing significant
strategic, cultural, and structural transformation.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science from The University of Canterbury,
has attended the University of Michigan’s Advanced Executive
HR Programme. He has previously represented and captained
New Zealand at international Surf Life Saving events culminating
in him being a member of the New Zealand team who won the
1998 World Surf Lifesaving Championship.

GREG COX PARTNER

Greg Cox is a Partner with Generator Talent. Greg’s extensive career has focused on providing HR and organisational leadership to drive the right outcomes, the right way. His Commercial, HR and General Management skills were built within some of the world’s most respected businesses including Johnson and Johnson, PepsiCo and Cadbury Schweppes and most recently Executive General Manager, Corporate Service with one of Australia’s emerging Industrial Services stars – UGL Limited. He’s lived and worked in Australia, UK and Asia. A passion for building strategy and driving outcomes that support business performance has been a feature of his 30+ year career.
Greg’s experience encompasses leadership at Senior Executive Level across the full range of the HR disciplines, P&L accountability for business operations and accountability for other functional disciplines including Quality, Risk, Project Management, Health and Safety, Payroll and Internal Communications. He brings a depth of experience and knowledge around organisations, the people in them, how they work and how to get the best for his clients. He is recognised as a coach and senior counsel to Chief Executive and senior executives.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from the University of Technology. He has two almost grown-up daughters, loves technology and music, plays a passable set of drums, loves a laugh, a wine and good company.

LINDA HOWARTH PARTNER
|
Linda Howarth is a Partner with Generator Talent and has a rich Human Resources career in Consumer Goods companies, with a recent period in the Health Care industry. This experience has been achieved as HR Director level in large successful global businesses that include Unilever, Estee Lauder, Arnott’s-Campbell and Johnson and Johnson.
In these positions Linda was responsible for the business based HR strategy development implementation, working closely with CEOs and Leadership Teams. Linda has most recently been in an Asia Pacific Regional role, managing the change and communication deliverables for a Global Human Resources Project for Johnson and Johnson.
Linda’s strengths are in small and large-scale change initiatives where the focus ison a smooth transition for leaders, management teams and HR functions. She has recruited, coaches and developed an extensive number of successful senior executives in her corporate career and this experience and capability translates well into the Generator Talent business model.
Linda is a devoted water polo Mum to her son David but also manages a small property in the Southern Highlands where, work permitting, she fancies herself as a bit of a dressage rider.

GILLIAN GIBSON PARTNER

Gillian is a Partner with Generator Talent and has over 25 years experience working and consulting in the areas of human resources, organisational and individual development, leadership, talent management, change management, executive coaching and facilitation. She has held Group GMHR/HR Director/GM level positions with some of New Zealand’s leading corporate organisations.
Gillian holds a Bachelor of Arts, a Diploma in Teaching, a Diploma in Guidance and Counselling from Auckland University, and she is currently studying towards a Masters of Arts in Executive Coaching from Middlesex University.
Gillian has worked with and consulted to many high profile organisations such as SKYCITY, TVNZ, ENZA (NZ Apple and Pear Marketing Board), Pepsi, Auckland Healthcare, NZ Dairy Foods (Fonterra Brands), Lion Nathan, Telecom, Repco, Apollo Group, St John, ASB and others.
Gillian is accredited to use the Lominger Leadership Architect Suite of products, Saville Consulting psychometric assessments; the Hay Emotional Intelligence tools (ECI), the DDI range of products, and the LSI and OCI assessments, as well as other Educational and Vocational choice tools.
Gillian lives in Auckland and has two children.

ALEX LAWRIE PARTNER
|
Alex Lawrie is Partner at Generator Talent, bringing a background and wealth of experience in the design and implementation of organisational initiatives. She has a reassuringly pragmatic and commercially focused approach to her work.
Alex has over 12 years experience across diverse industries in Australia and New Zealand having worked in Human Resource Director level roles at Telecom NZ, Gen-i Australasia and GE Capital. Her earlier career in human resources included working at companies that include AMP Financial Services, Coca-Cola Amatil, Sydney Olympic Games and DDI International.
Alex’s many talents encompass leadership assessment and development, talent management and employee engagement. This, of course, is in addition to her outstanding skills in sales force development, recruitment and selection and HR strategy design. In fact, Alex is a bit of a human dynamo. Her ability to roll up her sleeves and partner with Leadership Teams to drive individual, team performance and cultural change lends an invaluable commercial perspective that our clients truly appreciate.
In her spare time, Alex can generally be found exploring the gastronomic delights of different cultures. She’s recently returned from an Indochinese food trail, can cook up a storm and appreciates good food and wine. She loves the beach and is a regular on the iconic Sydney morning run from Bronte to Bondi.
